The difference is what happens once everyone's on court: apps like Reclub mostly stop at the sign-up, while Choyens keeps working through the whole session.

• A real queueing engine — fair rotation that prioritises whoever has played least, with balanced and level-based matching so games stay competitive, plus brackets for splitting casual and competitive courts.
• Total flexibility — auto-match is optional. Hand-pick teams, swap players mid-queue, or use it purely as a score sheet.

No — auto-match is a suggestion, never a rule. The generator is there to save you time, but every match it queues stays fully editable:

• Regenerate a pairing you don't like with one tap.
• Swap any player in or out of a pending or active match.
• Reorder the queue so the match you want runs next.
• Delete a queued match entirely and build your own.

Or skip the generator altogether and hand-pick every game — Choyens works just as well as a pure score keeper.

Yes. Flip on “Select players manually” next to the Generate button and you get the full roster — not just resting players. You can even pick someone who's currently on court: manual matches are queued as pending, so they simply run when the players are free.

Prefer a hybrid? Pick just your anchors (the pair who asked to play together) and Choyens auto-fills the remaining slots from the rest queue, longest-waiting first. You see exactly who fills in before anything is created.

Absolutely — many groups use it exactly that way. Create matches manually, enter scores as games finish, and the Games tab becomes your complete match log:

• Every game numbered in order, with court, finish time, and duration.
• Final scores and per-set breakdowns for multi-set matches.
• Live standings computed automatically — games played, wins, losses, win rate, and points for every player, updating the moment a score lands.

No queue discipline required: the fairness engine, brackets, and rotation are all optional layers on top of the same score sheet.

Yes. The host (or a group admin) can edit the score of any finished match or delete it outright — from the live screen's Done tab or the event's Games tab, even after the event has ended. Points, standings, and the MVP recalculate automatically so the record always reflects what actually happened on court.

No — that list retires the day you switch. Instead of everyone copy-pasting the roster to add their name (and someone inevitably deleting half of it), joining a Choyens event is one tap. The attendee list maintains itself in real time:

Choyens is a free app for running pickup sports sessions — badminton, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and more. Hosts create an event, players check in, and Choyens handles the on-court flow: who plays next, on which court, what the score was, and who topped the night's standings.

Everyone checked in sits in a rest queue ordered by waiting time. When you generate a match, Choyens prioritises whoever has played the fewest games, so nobody gets stuck on the bench. You can also choose:

• Round robin — queue order, random teams.
• Balanced match — teams evened out by points, so games stay competitive.
• Level match — players grouped with others of the same tier.
• Brackets — split a big session into separate rotations (e.g. casual and competitive courts).

Per game: final score, per-set scores, duration, and who played. Per event: live standings (games, wins, losses, win rate, points) plus the night's MVP. Per player: points, wins, and MVP counts per sport on their profile, feeding the community rankings ladder — and shareable stat cards for Instagram Stories.

Yes — hosts can add walk-in guests by name in seconds. Guests are queued, matched, and scored like everyone else, and their stats count within the event. Misspelled a name mid-session? Rename the guest anytime and it updates across every game they've played. Outsiders can also join public events as guests straight from the event's share link — no account needed.

The event host and their group's admins control the queue, matches, and corrections. Score entry can optionally be opened to players — anyone in a match can submit their own result, which keeps big sessions moving without the host chasing every court.
